I just installed a D15B7 into my '00 hatch because I needed my car running ASAP. I'm using the obd2 engine harness, my D16Y7 fuel rail and injectors along with my distributor as well. The car starts up and idles a little low but when I hit the gas it has late response then shuts off if I go over 2k RPM. Does anyone know what it could be?

Yea CEL is on but I'd have to have the car tower to AutoZone or something to get that checked out.

 

OBD-II car with OBD-I motor?

Harbor Freight has a cheap OBD-II code reader.

 

Did you reuse the y7 intake and exhaust manifolds?

Also the B7 doesn't have a CKF sensor by the crank you'll have to bypass
