steering column issues

91 hatch. you can lock my steering column, but you can barely pull on it and the damn thing just drops to the lowest adjustment. its annoying. any help?

Have you gotten up in there and looked around?

Loose bolts anywhere?

everything looks good and tight, but im gonna double check tomorrow just in case. its possible i couldve missed something.
