I now have two sets of low beam caps sitting in front of me as well as my EDM CTR headlights. Before I actually start taking he housing apart to switch the projectors I want to make sure I I have all the right parts. The gaskets I got for the caps (33145-SL0-A01) fit onto both sets of caps fine. But neither set of caps (which happen to be different part numbers but appear to be the same part) fit onto the back of the headlight. The part numbers are as follows:

33127-S6A-J71
33127-SL0-A01

Does anyone know the correct part number for these rear caps?

Does it have anything to do with the fact that my headlights are halogen and being converted to HID? I didn't think the housing would be different but maybe they are? Especially since my posts here pretty much confirm the part number for the caps.

Does that mean only the rubber cover will fit? There is a hole there that lines up with the screw hole on the cap. Am I better off just sealing the cap on with silicone and putting a screw in it since they almost fit?
