^ I took this 8 week online class on car electronics. It's not too time consuming. For the basic MECP course it's free, for the other courses it will cost you.
The online class consists of PDF files and videos (all of which you can download or just view in your browser) and at the end of the week you will take a test to see how well you know the material.

I sent you one, it's a really good class and it even has videos and you can even purchase an optional kit to help you understand some of the concepts
