99 Accord starts and dies
I've searched everywhere and replaced some parts already but I can't figure this out...
My accord had 195K on it and about 2 months ago about 1 out of 10 starts it would immediately die after starting. It would start right up afterwards and it would run fine. I noticed it mostly when it was cold after sitting all night or in the parking lot after work but occasionally it would do it when it was warm too. I lived with it until 2 weeks ago when it just died driving down the road. It wouldn't start back up, it would start and immediately died. I towed it home and it wouldn't start that night or the next day, same issue. The second day it fired up and I was able to pull it into the garage.
So far I've changed the main relay and the fuel pressure regulator. I've also ordered an ignition switch but I'm not sure that will solve my issue. Any thoughts on what it could be? I've tested for spark and it's good. My distributor is also less than a year old. Same with plugs and wires.
I've driven it around my neighborhood and it has done fine but since I'm still having the 1 in 10 start and die moments I'm a little concerned about getting her out on the road again until I chase down the issue.

every figure this out, i had the similar problem but now she won't turn over and all i hear is a clicking coming from the starter.. gonna say the stater or solenoid... was wondering if you had similar symptoms.. Don't mean to hijack the thread
The lock and Cylinder probably went bad. On my 99 accord, I notice if u move the key even 1/2 of a mm it would die instantly with the Green Flashing Key symbol on the dash.
