I recently acquired my automatic '08 Civic EX-L sedan, and I love it. Only problem is, lately it has been beeping at me randomly just once at a time, but no notification pops up anywhere. No light turns on or off, no message shows up in any of the displays...nothing. My seatbelt is always on, my blinker is always off, it says my oil life is still 60%, I couldn't find anything by just searching the web and I couldn't find anything in the owner's manual. I can't figure out what it might be.

Thoughts?

This happens when you double tap the lock button on the remote.
Sometimes it does it to me because my keys are in my pocket.
Sometime the alarms foes off for me be cause i have a pocket full of junk lol

All of these symptoms you describe are part of a possible Gauge Control Module internal failure. Take it to the dealer to confirm this.
