Default 1994 Honda Accord timing belt kit question

Hello all, I am new here. A few days ago I bought a 1994 honda accord for my daughter, it has alot of miles so I am wanting to get the timing done. Anyways I found this kit on ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/AISIN-Water-...8b5289&vxp=mtr

Now my question is, it says F22A1 and F22B6 engine. In my car I have the non v-tech engine but it is F22B2. Will this kit work with an F22B2? As far as I can tell this kit is for a non v-tech engine but the engine numbers are confusing me, I can not seem to find a good quality kit anywhere that says F22B2.

I wouldnt get it, Get a Gates timing belt kit and a new water pump (Look on RockAuto.com) . Also while doing it you might want to look at getting new cam seals and other ones just get OEM.. They are not that exspensive.

Trust Honda Belts, Typically made my Banda, Gates, Dayco.... Gates Makes a good Belt. Trust the Honda Water Pump.

Stay away from Goodyear Gatorback, They Stretch, and Squeak.

Hmm from the research I have done, the gates kit comes with not so good tensioners. From the research I have done this Aisin kit is all OEM just not stamped honda, I just need to know if it will work with my engine.

My kit from rockauto says it fits f22a1,f22b1,f22b2. So those are all the same as far as belts, water pump, and seals.

Me personally i opted for the gates kit. It came with everything. I don't think its worth the risk on cheap timing belts, or seals.

The damage caused by a cheap product last much longer than the deal of saving a few bucks.

The gates kit comes with Koyo tensioners, the same ones that are 50-60 buxs from Honda.
The only thing in the kit that is not OEM is the water pump and personally I have installed 5 of these kits on V6 and 4 bangers w/o any issues...

Is it a manual tensioner? or an automatic?

The Honda Manual Tensioners are great, provided you do not get a belt that stretches, you have to re-tighten until it's snug each time. The automatic tensioner does it's job also, I have been using a Honda Auto Tensioner for 9 Years Straight. It's the same tensioner that came with the Motor... from 1995... 18 years.... does it's job.

Hmmm from what I have read, sometimes gates sends other tensioners...GMB or something like that, I think they send whatever they have at the moment.

The F22B1 and F22B2 timing belts are not the same, they are different lengths.

I'm in the middle of a timing belt job on F22B2. I bought a Gates kit from Oreilly's. It wasn't the cheapest way to go, so hopefully it bought me some better quality. My problem now is I can't get the lower timing cover back on. It came off easy enough with a little jiggling, but I've struggled for hours trying to get it back on. Haynes manual suggests lowering the engine, but I don't know if it's safe to lower the engine by removing just the driver's side engine mount. What's the best way for me to get the lower cover back on, and are there any tricks?
