ok, uhmm who has fiberimages carbon fiber hoods on here... Are they the best. I've seen all them videos on their websit where they jump on it, throw a wheel on it, and run it over with a car. I wanna by one but i need some imput on it first. Also wheres a website that would sell their hoods for a cheap price. So far, the cheapest I've found was $550 on their hoods.

Not the Best, one of the Better I would say. I paid $400. for a CRX SIR sytle hood about two years ago...nice hood...kinda heavy compared to others Ive lifted.

Now for the EH its going to be a Sunny Stylin hood.

 

i have one, took a long time to get to my house , i ordered in february, didnt get it until may, then, it didnt fit because of an imperfection in the frame. finally got a new on in august, fits great, nice quality, i'm happy, if it wasnt for the long long wait. I do have to say though, i ordered it through MMR (CJ helped me out) and after talking to Alfred ( i think) the owner of FI many times throughout the course of the wait, they were always very helpful, polite and courteous. Also, they sent me a new hood without me having to send the other one back, or charging my account -- great sign of service IMO. i give them a I think my example was a freak one, and i've heard many other good things about their business

Have one on my EK hatch. FI is more concerned about the racing aspect as apposed to the cosmetic one. My hood fits very well and the frame is nicely done but the top is a little flawed. Took a long time to get mine to but not FI's fault.

 

i had one on my car... the fit and weave was excellent. sold it though
