Default D15B2 to SOHC ZC vacuum help needed. *pic*

I have looked at several diagrams for regular dpfi to mpfi vacuum running. The problem is that my SOHC ZC intake is different in several spots and the diagrams don't help me much.

I'm having trouble finding a vacuum diagram for **specifically** the SOHC ZC. Can anyone help?

Here is an example of the problem I'm having.

Delete the canister and you are done. I know you are a stickler for all stocky stock set ups but really if you ditch the charcoal canister, you don't need to run any of that.

Going to tough finding the Honda service manual for a non US engine.

You only need to tap into a vacuum source on the manifold (rather than off the throttle body).
Putting a tee in the one line coming off the front of the manifold should suffice.

If I delete the charcoal canister, which lines do I keep and which do I cap off?

Isn't the MAP sensor pretty important?

Also, why do the american versions have a vacuum diaphragm connected to the throttle, and what does it do?

If I recall correctly, that diaphragm is there to stop the throttle from closing abruptly. Not absolutely necessary and it's no longer present on newer versions of the same engines.

you remove everything but vacuum line 21, the pcv valve, the line to the fpr, and the brake booster line and you'll be fine. the dash pot on the tb is just there to slowly close the throttle the last 10% or so when you go from wot to closed to keep the car from stalling out

The MAP is important.... just T off a vacuum line that is already there on the IM, delete the canister and you can cap the vent tube on the firewall... The gas cap is vented, so not required. If it makes you feel better, run a tube from the firewall vent down to the ground... the original from the canister dumps on the lower part for the frame/rear fender area in the engine bay.

Yeah, Honda ditched that throttle nonsense I think with OBD1. You can swap a newer IM on there that doesn't have it and the car will run fine. SOOO, once again, another part not really needed.
