Default ASR subframe brace needed with ITR sway bar?

Is the ASR subframe brace really needed if you install an ITR sway bar? If yes, is there a cheaper alternative to the brace?

Also, some people tell me to get the Progress sway bar. Isn't the ITR the same bar but cheaper and without all the bracket and endlinks? I assume the ITR isn't hollow.

I would say the asr brace is necessary if you have a 96-00 civic for sure. Other models could use something like the beaks kit.
