Default And yet another one bites the dusk update

Black and yellow no more. My good friends 01 itr got stripped last week at the transmission shop that it was being worked on. He just shelled out a ton of money to get a fresh paint job, refinished wheels, new tires, etc.. all went to waste. They took the wheels (brand new tires), seats, center console (blank), cluster, navigation, strut bar, some charge piping, other misc. If anyone in the greater Portland area or even oregon washington, see's these type r parts poping up please be on the lookout. F*ck thieves

Altho it is terrible that his car got hit, at least its savable. IM sure the shops insurance company will cover it. If not his will, then go after the shop. It looks like he was able to keep alot of his high dollar parts.

What are his plans for the car now? Its obviously going to be a total loss. He should DEF buy it back.

Yes definitely lucked out, could of been alot worse. Shop owner is being a dbag, so he hired a lawyer and we're going after them. Will definitely be keeping the car, she will be brought back to life in no time

This is never ending, I'm so sorry. The only silver lining I see is the car is still there and it looks like the drive train and suspension are in tact.

Man really sorry to hear that. As others have said, could have been a lot worse... Reminds me of when my friends gsr got jacked right outside his house. Police recovered just the bare chassis, EVERYTHING was stripped.

Looks like they pried the door open...weird.

That's a shady shop owner....they are just as responsible as the thieves. Shop owner doesn't think he's at "fault"? Ridiculous. Car was at his shop, what else is there to say?

That passenger door/roof line is making me angry just looking at it. I seriously wish the owner the best of luck in finding the thieves or anyone with his parts.

it really is sad, this **** seems like it will never end. they busted the lock on the drivers door, that didnt work. so the basically just pried open the pass door, in the process screwed over the paint job like no other.

Man that sucks. Good thing they didn't take the motor though. That thing looks like serious money.

If it were me, I'd have taken the car to a dealer and paid extra just to have them do whatever it is they needed to do. I don't trust shops with my car, and if I need to go to a garage mechanic, I stay with the car and never leave it overnight. If he says that the labor will take overnight, I'd probably sleep next to the car.

Thats why i always made sure they parked my R in the garage if it had to stay at a body/mechanic shop overnight!

Sucks but can be brought back to life!

unfortunately they do. especially the R's. they just dont exist. i know of like 3 or 4, people keep them buried away. So when some honda fan boys see something like this, they get on it quick. its sad. we work our ***'s off for these cars, and make a clean honest living. Somebody decides they can come and take your ****, its really unfortunate.
