The hood on my del sol refuses to close fully.

It bothers me a bit and also worries me as what kind of problems can result from water getting in and possibly freezing as winter gets closer. The wiring inside is borderline rats nest.

IMPORTANT
Pass side dips too low near headlight
Driver Side has a giant gap
Does have an accident history
The hood is new

Any help on how to at least reduce the gap size on the drivers side would very helpful the passenger side isn't much of a problem.

 

I had a problem like this awhile back. It turned out to be the hood mounting brackets by the windshield. I just went to the junkyard & got new ones

 

Is it model specific because around here we have 2 walk in places and everywhere else uses their computer system?
