i know its a jdm d15b but why did it come with a dpfi???

Looks like somebody switched the block but used the ef intake manifold.

They swapped the motor out but was too lazy to do the mpfi swap and reused the dpfi manifold

its just a 1.6 liter engine from around 92+ maybe a z6, y8 etc and it was kept dpfi

they needed a block replacement and they replaced it...
i have an 89 dx with the d15b7 in it, not everyone wants to change from dpfi, some people actually want the better fuel economy and less hassle.

I think its a Y7 head I dont see a Vtec solinoid
