Im putting my winter tires on and thought about painting them black. Is that ricey, cheesy, etc??

 

painting steels black looks like a wanna-be. if you don't have black RIMS, dont' try to get the 'LOOK' by painting steels.
plus it makes the car look trashy, like the hubcaps fell off while driving.
IMO steels look better on Hondas in silver.

 

I have to disagree with my good friend Ham'ed Hatch. I think steels look better black. Im not to fond of the silver. If there just winter wheels and thats all your going to use them for, why not spray them. Maybe its just because i like to spray paint stuff and ill paint anything in sight but i really like them more when theyre black.

 

i think it looks fine if you dont have the money to buy wheels and you dont like silver wheels then paint them it all matters what you think.

 

i painted mine black i got sick of the silver so i painted them (i dont have wheels so my 13 inch stelies are my daily drivers)

Is black really better? I have been considering spraying my 15x6 steelies silver before I throw a set of all season tires on.

It might have to do with the color of your car, but I think silver looks better.
