Icon6 91 accord tcm compatibility

Hello everyone, I have a 91 accord lx wagon with 142k miles on it. The transmission control module is crapping out on me and needs to be replaced. I've looked for an exact replacement at the local junkyards in my area but can't find one.

So, do any of you know if any other TCMs are compatible with my car? I didn't want to go through the whole process before coming on here and asking, especially since I have a wagon and some parts are only for wagons. I've read on another thread that EX TCMs won't work on LXs. Is that true, and can I use the TCM from any other 90-93 accord?

the engine is an f22a1, and the serial number on mine is 28100-PXO-A12-M1

Can you solder or know of anyone who can?
The resistors and capacitors are known to burn up on these TCUs.
Click on the 'H4A' link in my sig for info regarding how to R&R the TCU.

You don't need it to be exact, you just need it to be from 90-93. I knew about this problem, so 3 months ago, I pulled the TCM and soldered in better brand and a little higher capacity capacitors. Don't wait until it fails then you have to solder in the resistors which are hard to put on as they are smaller.

A EX TCM WILL WORK ON A LX. I JUST DID THAT TO MINE. I REMOVED MY LX ECU TO MY EX TO RULE OUT POSSIBLE BAD TCM ON MY EX AND THE EX TCM IS IN MY LX RUNNING PERFECT NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS NO D4 FLASHING OR ANYTHING SO THE EX TCM WILL WORK ON THE LX
