Default Need help with tranny?

A whats up....

I am going to help a friend replace his tranny on his automatic 1987 accord lx,
he got a qoute over the phone for $900 bucks, now im trying to help him save some money........

Ive done some tranny work on my ef9 before and im woundering if an auto accord tranny is different from my b16a tranny...

Now would i need to take the motor and tranny out the car?

How much room do i have to work with if i leave the tranny in the car?

just need some tips please...........

what kind of engine that bad boy running???

you shouldnt have to pull it all out? i am not 100 sure though, if you do the work and have access to a lift or hoist. It wont be to tough. Just sit there and do it. takes bout 4 hrs for me to physically unplug, adjust and remove all my stuff and pull my motor AND tranny.

not sure what he has but i got a f22 auto tranny sitting here , i ll help get it to him cheap.
