The possibility/utility of using OEM d-series Civic fuel pumps in a B-series Integra
Hi I recently posted this in the acura section with no replies does any body know if a fuel pump from a 98 civic will work in a 97 integra? Reason im asking is I have civic fuel pumps on hand wanted to see If i could use them in my integra instead of going out and buying one.

you do not tell us what model civic and what model integra ....but civic si does not has the same fuel pump flow as civic as i know so specify what models
They all use the same pump, same part number, and same filter kit. Therefore they are the same pump. Only one that has different part number are the 1992-1995 Civics, so 1996-2000 Civic and 1994-2001 Integra are same pump. I have put a DC fuel pump in an EG successfully even though have different part numbers so go figure.

You are wrong if you are talking about factory fuel pumps. Your statement may only be true if you are comparing aftermarket fuel pumps.
The factory pumps can physically be interchanged with each other but they are not the same part numbers and pumps like you say.
From what I've read in the past
1988-2000 Civic VX, Si, HX, CX, DX, EX = 79 lph
1989-2001 Integra RS, GS, LS = 79 lph
1999-2000 Civic SI = 135 lph
1994-2001 Integra GSR = 135 lph
1997-2001 ITR = 135 lph

Thanks for clarifying! It was weird to me that they're interchangeable but had different part numbers, it all makes sense now.
So would a walboro 255 pump from an 01 integral work on an 89 civic hatch?
