Icon3 Honda A/C Gurus needed!

Ok guys ... 2003 Accord EX, A/C blower isn't working. HVAC controls light up and I can hear the vents moving when I switch setting. Compressor does not engage. The blower engages for like a second when ignition switch is in II position. Ran the self-diagnostic and it resulted in "N" - circuit problem (duh).

hot-wired blower, it works great ... check
tried new resistor, not the problem ... check
under dash fuses ... check
relays and fuses in under hood fuse box ... check

I don't know what else to check. Ideas?

Thanks!

Power supply to the blower is the fault. If you hot wired the blower using the blowers ground point, and then a wire off the battery, that is the only cause it could. If you created your own ground when you hotwired, the ground could be at fault too.

Try rocking the ignition switch when the blower stops working. My car has this problem when its colder. If that doesn't yield something interesting, you will need to track back from the blower to find out where the power is dropping out.

Accords around that year range have problems with the control head losing power internally, but the exact opposite occurs, the blower works on any speed, but the vent controls and a/c control will not light up or function. It is a possibility, but I've never seen it present that way.
