Front Bumper Replacement - What part is this?
I had an after market fiberglass front bumper on my Del Sol for a long time. I just finished doing a turbo conversion and I needed to buy a stock front end in order to fit the FMIC.
The side mounting points are all torn up, I had been using zip-ties (ghetto I know) to hold on the fiberglass bumper, but the stock replacement is much stiffer and needs to be mounted securely so I need to repair/replace the stock mounting points.
I've been looking through online parts diagrams and can't figure out what I would need to replace this:

Over a hundred view and no one knows? Is that part of the fender or a separate piece that can be replaced?
The metal is so thin and weak I can't believe no one else has had to deal with this issue.

looks like it would be a type of headlight bracket... its a retarded thin metal that the headlight would sit against, more for alignment purposes i would suppose.
look into that
look into that
This is the part I'm referring to:

The hole is where the side bolt for the bumper goes through. It's bent down in this pic. I'm thinking it's just part of the fender that has torn.
