oem cable clutch kit if it is a cable trans
oem hydro clutch kit if it is a hydro trans

whatever stage the clutch may be, it will show how many ft lbs of torque the clutch can handle...unless your b16 is boosted, all you really need is a oem replacement or stage 1. stage 3 on a n/a b16 is over kill.

88-91 = cable
92-00 =hydro

b16's are torqueless...oem or stage1 is all n/a b16 needs...there is not a b16 on this planet that is making near the power all motor to need anything more

stage 1 handles 202 ft/lbs
stage 2 handles 265 ft/lbs

no where even close so your good even w/ oem

I agree with oem or stage 1. I would recommend the exedys.

Don't forget the 92-93 ys1 cable transmission takes a hydro clutch kit, 88-91 a1,j1 and s1 have a different clutch disc specific to them.
