have you tried stepping the idle up ....are you running a stock ecu? ....does the motor have an iacv on it? ....any vacuum leaks? ...with that low of a comp. ratio i assume you're running boost are your charge pipes leaking? ....what kind of map sensor do you have? is it hooked up?

it sounds like a tune would be a good idea ...with that low of a cr its hard for the motor to idle on a stock basemap

convert to obd1 and get tune.

also 6cr must run like a turtle out before boost.
