Only have 4k on my 12 ridgeline and apparently a shock is blown and leaked oil all over new driveway. Anyone else have this issue happen? Getting fixed on monday.

 

Got the truck back today. They said whenever the shock was made apparently it had a really bad well and it just went. Got to drive a new camry while it was out though that was fun.

 

I have a 08 with about 80 000km on it.
One rear shock is starting to be noisy, it is very common for ridgeline to blow shock, I have seen some brand new ridgeline with blown shocks ...

Up here in Canada, my local Honda dealer do about 15 to 20 Ridgeline J35 rebuilt under warranty per year, even some engine with only 10K km ...

And this is for a 40K people town.

They all fail on cyl #5, piston slap scaring the sleeve.
Mine is starting to be noisy, I will probably get a brand new block, that will probably fail too.
