Update:"What it does is once it warms up it doesnt want to shift you turn it off restart it like 10 seconds after and it shifts again for a minute"

Well i dont know the whole comlete story because i found the car on craigslist and im gonna actually go buy it, but it sounds like you put it in drive and it works just fine till it warms up and then it just loses everything and feels like its in neutral, but then they say if you turn it off for 10 seconds and then back on all gears work? So that linda pushes it off to an electrical problem? Or even it could have bad fluid or even the lines could be pluged or tranny filter, either way ima buy the car, no body damage 94 teg for 1500 sounds alright to me. I need a project

Buy it, drain and replace the ATF, see what happens, if problem still exists pull the codes for auto transmission.

Yes it can still easly be an electrical issue. 94

Yeah thats what i was planning to do anyways. I might just buy a tranny and do a whole rebuild, but once i go pick it up im gonna tinker around with it see if i can maybe get it goin. So i know there are a few trannys and i know theyre all diff what kinds should i thin of?
