So I'm currently having trouble with my electrical.. Mainly the #1 on the pic provided below which is located in the fuse box underneath the dash. Its the 10amp fuse that runs the tach, temp etc.. Ive replaced it numerous(sometimes it will last for days other times for minutes) and will finally have some time soon to take a look around.. Im just looking for some helpful advice on to what could be the problem. A short im thinking but im not to fimiliar with the electrical system... plus whoever did the wiring on my car before i bought it did a real half assed job.. If someone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it..

 

Well if a fuse keeps blowing it usually means there's a break in the current and it's somehow arcing or shorting itself out as you said. Other than that the only advice i can give is follow the wires and check them for continuity.

 

So i found out that it is only happening when i put my car in reverse.. any ideas

 

thats very odd its only doing it in reverse but ya like the guy before me just check for continuity
