Coolant and oil mixing in f23a1
Trying to get my ride back on the road.......wrecked it over 4yrs ago.....been in my garage the whole time.
Well I replaced all the fender bender stuff.....thought I was good, did an oil change and I saw creamy oil come out. I thought it could be from condensation.......drove it for awhile then did another oil change....creamy stuff comes out. Flushed the cooling system cause cream in there too.....filled oit back up and coolant.....run car.....then I notice radiator level slowly drops.....so I put more in....well I check the oil dip stick.......cream!!!!........then on top of the the oil level has risen.
Soo.....I do a compression test. 150psi across all 4 cylinders.
So my question is.....where's the leak?
The head, the head gasket, or the block?
I think I overheated when I had my fender bender.....dont remember tho.
I got another block on an engine stand.....head is good....block? Hmmmm.....I ran 17psi on it w/aem ems.....thought I was getting knock, but turns out my tranny was bad.....soo really dont know the how good the block is.
If money wasn't a thing.....I'd build my block now.......but I have 6 kids.....sooo no more sinking tons of money into my ride.
What would yall do?
Just thought I'd be crusing again untill this......just added it to insurance and registered it.
I have an 06odyssey for my wife and family and a 98civic for work comute and my 99accord paid off. I wanna pay my house off by 45yrs old......soo no more debt except for house note.
With all that being said.....how would you guys handle this?
Btw...... This is a 99accord 4dr w/ jdm h22 tranny, turbo'ed, custom ram style mani wrapped and coated, 2.5in dp flared to 3in -3in cat-3in exhaust-24in resonator-dynomax 3in vt muffler, hks injector controller controlling 4 injectors under manifold with a missing link to hide boost from the map sensor.

I would measure the deck and head with a straight edge with a feeler gauge just to make sure it's not out of spec; don't remember what the spec is. Then if all is good, I'd replace the head gasket with new head bolts. To me, it does sound like a head gasket.
Good Luck!
Good Luck!
Bump!!!!
Wanna have more opinions......curious as to why all cylinders have 150psi with compression test.
Got a double shift.....no time to work on it till sunday......
Hopefully its just the head gasket......if soo.......God willing.........I'll be cruising my ride again.......soo soo impatient!

I put in some "blue devil" .......pour-n-go bottle.
Wow.......drained the oil......refilled it with fresh oil......followed instructions to the "t".
Ran it probably 1hr20min......checked oil......was clean......same level!
Let it cool off......topped off radiator with water, and it didn't take much.
Ran car another 30min...... Now I'm waiting for it to cool off to check radiator.
also checked oil.....it was clean.....and same level. I really hope it is what it is....
$26 for a bottle of "blue devil".....$ 19 for 5qts of oil.....pretty cool if it holds.

I think you've discovered a quick fix, but you should get that looked at.
