good suspension for em1
im sure im going to get bashed for posting this, but, since there are so many setups that can be chosen, im not sure what the best would be for my money. plus everyone has their opinion so im trying to get some feedback on top of the research ive done. goal is about 400-450 wheel, daily driven until made the weekend car, will sit low, and rides comfortably (which may seem to be a difficult feat while being slammed). lookin to buy something here within the next week or 2, so like i mentioned, aiming for feedback and not criticism please, thank you.
i know im beating a dead horse here, but i jus need maybe a couple insights and then ill discuss the rest with whoever i may be buying them from, trying to pinpoint which direction i should go in
For most people Koni/GC is the normal answer. I love Koni/GC, PIC, AMR. I like Progress too but they are NOT made to slam a car. Personally I don't like slammed cars a 2.5" drop is about the max I will ever lower a Honda. I also like Skunk2 (OMG really?) because they work pretty okay as long as you install them by the instructions and don't slam the car but, in reality that goes for all brands.

@ OP. The truth of the matter is that no matter what anyone suggest, you already have something in mind that you want. Im guessing some ebay crapola. And your mostly looking for someone on here to recommend what you want so you can feel better about yourself.
Bottom line is you can cheap out if you want and and get ebay coilovers.
Or do it right and invest in something worthwhile. AMR, Progress, Ground Control, ect.
I have personally had experience on my cars with Godspeed, Tien, K SPort, Megan, D2, Ground Control, and Buddy Club.
Out of those Buddy Club was hands down the best and still going strong. Godspeed Megan were a waste of time and money.
Friday rant for you all. Have a great weekend!
^^^ not cheap and nor do i put ebay **** on my car, thank you. i may be leaning towards ground controls. so about 800-1000k is about the max i wanna spend
yes i read the sticky, amr may be too pricey for me as i wont be doing much cornering with the car, jus needing something worth the money and not cheap, leaning more towards ground controls
Ok so I was wrong about the cheap e bay crapola. But you still did have something in mind you want to get. So get the GC set up and be done with it. End of story.
Next time read the whole post before replying.
It blows me away how people are sooooo lazy to read. They just want some magical answer.
