Hi all.... my 99 civic dx sedan has hesitation issues and i was wondering what could be causing this..

Ok here we go... I bought my civic with 64,000 miles on it.. it now has 96,000 miles on it..

when I 1st bought the car to breathe some new life into it I replaced following parts..

Fuel Filter, Distributor cap and rotor, Spark plugs and Wires, put on short ram intake, synthetic 5w-30 oil and oil filter, primary O2 sensor..

After doing all this and I change my oil/filter religously what could be the cause of this hesitation??????

P.S.- this civic is an automatic.

Ive heard of this product you add to engine oil called compression fix... good idea or not???

next on my list is getting some honda dw-1 and changing auto tranny fluid.


Any help would be greatly appriciated guys n gals.

did you put oem honda parts in it? what brand plugs did you use? what o2 sensor?

 

the dist. cap and rotor is TEC.. the rotor im not sure... the plug wires I made an idiot mistake and replaced stock honda wires with autolite and the primary O2 sensor is Bosch.. oh the plugs are NGK iridium

 

im gonna fix the plug wire issue by getting a set of the blue colored NGK plug wires

 

also Ive got that notorious 96-00 civic stock exhaust manifold hairline crack starting at O2 sensor and going up (tiny crack but it is there)
