Default max rotor thickness for oem caliper ?

hi,
the thickness of my oem rotor are 19mm (4 door civic EF year 88)
with oem caliper, will the 26mm thick rotor fits in ?

Im planning to put a larger rotor (304mm or 330mm) with oem calipers
is it worth? or it just add more weight in breaking ?

thx

My experience has shown that you will not get it to fit. You might get it on with a worn pad, but no way with a new pad. Sometimes a pad is supplied that is thicker than OE by as little as 1-2mm per pad, and they won't fit onto new rotors.

I would expect that you might get a 20 or 21mm thick rotor in there, but not a 26mm one.
