GODSPEED RACEING GOOD OR BAD?
So after searching on local eBay , i see Godspeed racing or GSP some of there stuff looks good ,some looks kinda cheap. Can anyone dare say if they good or bad products from them? I looked on the internet a could not find anything clear cut some were like ,yes some were no! im just looking for an answer like are they off brand or not??Most of there products come with a warranty. i put pics of the Godspeeds vs. skunk2 cuz we all know skunk2 is a great brand
What was that about "skunk2 being a good brand"? Good joke. Skunk2 is just as shitty as every other company that gets the same old crap in a different color from taiwan.
If you want quality lca's get a set of Function7's or replace your bushings with oem, hardrace, or suja1.

Godspeed has been discussed a **** ton. One quick search on Google "Is Godspeed racing any good?" and voila'.
In summary, it's a ****ing "eBay product". Like an ebay turbo kit, ebay coilovers...same ****.

i put money on the fact that all those parts you just posted are made in the same overseas factory with different labels thrown on them. if you knew what these things actually cost the companies to buy versus what they're being sold for you'd wanna kidney punch a baby.
wowz guys i was just trying to start a topic not a war..... im looking for opinions and i have gotten them but skunk2 is a great brand, and not really part of what i was saying, i was talking GODSPEED and there reputation.
i know that some are made from different materials, but i also know that they come from china ,although idk about skunk2

Plenty of proof Skunk2 is a **** company. Butterfly screws on their overpriced throttle bodies backing out, old lca bushings, upper ball joints, their new throttle bodies stick and are trash out of the box, need I go further. Believe what you want. I've used enough of their crappy products to know they are no different than any other company that gets their **** in different colors from taiwan.
like the old saying goes you get what u pay for.. some of the cheaper stuff is most likely more show then go.. think about what your trying to achieve. looking good in a parking lot, yeah the cheaper stuff will do. looking good and proforming , id go with the parts made by reputable companies using stronger more expencive materials... but thats only my opinion...
So much hate for S2, I don't know but Ive used there LCA, TB, IM, cams, valve train, camber kits, shocks, springs. Never had a problem. So 1 in 500,000 people have a problem with there product, oh well. Now Ebay Nock offs do use cheap crap(99% is junk), just look at the camber pic's.
Every one has there opinion and this is mine.
*edit*
Im sure if a TB bolt fell and jacked up my motor I would hate them too.

Godspeed is garbage. Not even their intercoolers are worth the money. My friend bought one and the welds on it didnt even have full penetration. Such a joke.
Anyone who still thinks Skunk2 is a good company is stuck in the fanboi mentality. I still don't know how Skunk2 got a good reputation in the first place but their parts are piles of crap. If you don't believe it buy some. You'll find out the hard way.

That is just one of my lovely experiences with Junk2. Butterfly screw/bolt backed out and ruined a freshly built B20vtec, head was trashed and one cylinder wall was ****ed so the motor was pretty much a total loss. A nice way to blow $4500.
4500... damn you paid wayyy to much for an lsvtec...
I have 3 diffrent intercoolers from goodspeed and ever one is alright... They hold 40psi for over a hour so I have no problem using it... its not the best but works

whhhooaa guys i not really going to buy parts from either company.. i just wanted to know if they worked .. more of a WHATS your opinion not IM BUYing these parts now .. but it iteresting what you guys have to say although i just though they s2 was a good company ,i mean i see more builds with s2 and i not going to build my car with ebay garbage either just looking for opinions
i have godspeed headers and full catback exhaust...
it probably sounds extremely too raspy for most people's taste, but i love it.it does the job
my friend has godspeed lower control arms and coilovers and camber kit...that **** is bouncy as ****,but still does the job..
i have another buddy who's got godspeed(might have been speed daddy) headers and his sounds pretty nice actually..but he's running no cat..
my motor is built from the ground up with **** from ebay, and my car is a beast.
some **** from known brands probably do actually make a bigger difference, but for the most part, it all does the same **** man regardless of the brand..

There are instances where buying the cheapest ebay product is fine. Example: Piping for an intake. Not much can go wrong from buying a pipe from a generic brand versus a name brand.
Lol, start figuring up prices for machine work, head P&P, forged internals, custom cams, ect. Gets expensive in a hurry. I paid a reasonable price to do something correctly and that was with myself assembling the motor from the ground up all be it.
I could probably ghetto rig a stock parts lsvtec together for $1500.
There is a difference between stock/cheap and fully built.
