So yesterday my car dies on the freeway. I pull over trying to start sounded liek it need gas i put gas nothing.. When i turned it on it would start then just choke! Then try an listen for the fuel pump to go on for a couple of sec. And nothing no sounds from the fule pump. I grab the Main relay and i just feel a click? What can be the problem. I'm thinking the main relay need to be resolder? I check the fuse under the hood none are blown.

Remove the top small bolt off the fuel filter and turn to accessory power, does fuel stream out?

 

Yes

 

If that doesnt fix the problem what else can it be!?


And yes I took the blot out and it does shoot gas out

 

Resolder and go from there.
