Default Thinking of ditching B16a for B18C R what do you think?

Well, I went road racing driving school this weekend and I am in love. I think I really want to do this a lot and I want to be good. Only problem is my 10 to 11 year old 55K mile(?) engine doesn't seem like it's gonna hold up so good. My timing belt slipped on the way home since it stretched during the event. Also, I saw 1 corvette engine blow up, 1 NSX blow a ring land, and another NSX break a valve.

Well, point of this thread I saw this today:

And I'm like should I, could I do this, then I remembered this:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=161021

It is possible. Should I do it?

Anybody wanna buy my B16A when I'm done? Y1 non-lsd tranny and raxles axles. I might throw in the PR3 ECU as well since I might convert to OBDI or II. How much do you think I'd get for it? It would be pretty reliable for the street, drag, or autocross, but not road racing.

BTW, anybody who is autocrossing and has never road raced, try it out, you will never autocross again.

If you can afford it, then for sure go for it! $4200 will get you a long way with a b16a though.

Are you sure your timing belt was slipping?? Usually when that happens, the timing is thrown off and vavles start to bend!

But anyway, I will buy your Raxles and Intermediate shaft! PM me.

I don't think any of the valves are bent b/c the compression is still decent I got 200-190-185-170.
