Tires making noise?
I bought a set of spun supermeshes and put some used 195/55/15 tires on them yesterday ( tread is great, looks like they were used for maybe 500 miles) whenever im driving I can hear a noise coming from the tires, especially when I brake. It sounds almost like a hollow spinning (Think a lifted truck with mud tires) and I have no idea what it is, any ideas? there is no abnormal wear on the tires.
lol, it could be a lot of things. you didn't even say what kind of tires they are.
either way.. they're used.. if they don't vibrate.. who cares?

You could go to a shop with a RoadForce balancing machine to check the wheel and tire are ok, but as mentioned unless they are vibrating it may be tough to tell the cause. Normally the road noise would be generated from irregular wear or cupping, so if there is no evidence of that then it may be some suspension related (if the offset of the wheels is very different than stock).
