I have an RS Akimoto cold air intake for a 1995 Honda Accord EX. Does anyone in California have the CARB number, or information on how I can find it, because it won't pass a smog test without it.

 

Are you sure that intake is CARB exempt ? It should have a sticker in the box.

 

That's right it should be on the box or on the pipe itself, if it is carb exempt.

 

Or just find a stock intake and swap it in for your e test

Yes there was a sticker with the CARB number. It has peeled off.

Does it say RS Akimoto on the intake? Some smog techs are lazy, so if you do the leg work for them, they might let you slide. You can contact RS A and have them send you a CARB sticker. You can also try to give the tech the CARB number and see if he accepts it.
