Radio acting funny
so... i got some stuff done to my car at my local firestone and when I got my car back the radio asked for code...so i typed the code in and nothing...its as if the buttons dont work. idk what to do. im sure the firestone disconnected the battery for whatever reason, but other cases i just entered the code anyother time and it worked. and help or suggestions would be awesome its my stock radio.
Relax. If someone has suggestions they'll let you know.
If you typed the correct code it should have worked, obviously. I'll assume you've already checked for the obvious like a blown fuse. (in addition to the main power, the radio also gets constant power for the memory even when the car is off. IOW, not sure if more than 1 fuse is involved.) Don't know what you mean by "its as if the buttons dont work". Do they or don't they?
Last resort, try disconnecting the battery again to "reboot" the radio, or go back to Firestorm and bitch.
