door does not close right
hi guys! well my door is not closing correctly and i took a photo to show you guys what i think may be the problem but im not 100% sure.

in the photo is the final locking position in the door when i close the door soft it only goes into the first position where the hook just grabs the door and it is not locked properly, so i can get it to close right i have to slam it which i do not like, now the idea i have as you see in the picture is a rubber bump stop that prevents the door from closing right and the switch right above it from making contact leaving the lights in the cluster running at all times, i was wondering if anyone knows if this may be the problem of the door closing incorrectly?

Yeah. Loosen the 2 screws on the door striker and move it "outward" a tiny bit till the door closes normal without having to slam it. If the dome light stays on, adjust the dome light switch just below the striker.

BTW: To loosen the striker, using the following tools on the screws is your best bet:
- Large phillips-head screwdriver bit
- 1/4" socket (insert the screwdriver bit)
- ratchet
This will give you lots of leverage over those tight *** screws. Use the best fitting bit to ensure you don't strip the screw heads.
