Ok, the noise i can't really explain in without making it sound like a cat fell asleep under the hood. when i start my engine and just leave it there its all fine, but once i start reving the ening up it sounds like a siren or even a whistleing type of sound. Any ideas to what could be causeing this noise?

too much thing can go wrong, maybe a little more info or a picture on the engine bay will help

 

Belt(s) are loose or misadjusted....squeaking/slipping. Adjust or use alittle wd-40 (a TinY TINY bit) on the offending belt - cheapo way.

 

put a dog under your hood.
