Default jumped time?

I haven't cranked the car in awhile, so I jumped it of and was letting it idle, took it for a quick drive and left it idling to charge the battery, while I was cleaning it out, it sputtered and cut off.I attempted too crank and it did and shut right off, I tried again, but no luck.it act likes it wants to crank but won't. Any suggestions?

Igniter or coil maybe check for spark. If no spark check ohms readings. there is a write up on how to do it and the numbers. I cant remember off the top of my head.

Check for compression, put it at TDC and check the cam and crank marks, make sure you're getting fuel and spark. Whichever one of those aren't there or not correct then start there.
