Are emails too expensive, too?

As far as I'm aware Koni doesn't even manufacture springs. They don't indicate (at least not clearly) that they do.

Stock CTR springs are 240/240 if I recall correctly. They would be great on OTS Koni sport shocks. A lot of people like the Koni shocks because they have the adjustable perch which allows you to lower the car, stiffen the damping, and have the stock spring rates. The stock CTR rates are pretty stiff for a stock car.

They don't. They are using a German made spring, from Voigtland. I cannot say if the springs are specific to Koni, or if they are simply a re-boxed Voigland spring.

Koni doesn't make springs. And any aftermarket spring is going to be guaranteed stiffer than ANY oem spring.

I really don't understand the premise of your question.

While the OE CTR and ITR springs are pretty stiff, you are likely to find most (or all) aftermarket springs stiffer. With about 30 seconds of searching in Google, I found:

http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=68904

That says:
EK9 CTR - 240F / 240R
99-00 Si - 201F / 99.8R
Koni RSK (aka Voigtland) - 154-205F / 270R

I don't spend a lot of time on here, but seriously - just use the search function once in a while, ok guys? I am using that result of a search, because I have obviously spent more time searching than you have.

Grumble, I actually find all of your responses in line. guys b**ch about how you respond, but are not willing to search. It's ok to post up ANOTHER thread complaining the info is not available, but get whiney when you point them.

If those rates are 3,600kg/mm and 2,000 kg/mm

That's about 190lbs Front 112lbs Rear

JDM Civic Type R spring rates are 240lbs Front 240lbs rear

It sounds like you have springs that are from a DX/CX/EX/LX civic, honestly, those rates are from factory spec ~180/90

Did I, or did I not supply him with an email link, that he could have found himself? Did he not state PLAINLY that he got his answer? Then could not the SAME person do a simple Google search to find out what STOCK rates were? I'm not going to do ALL you people's research for you. Isn't being in the information age supposed to make your life easier? Not harder? Why is it that people think you should be handing them everything on a silver platter? The internet is the means that a man should be able to "feed himself". This forum isn't here to teach you how to use it or substitute for your inability to use it.

what position did you install the perches at? see how there's a series of notches that you can install that ring on that supports the spring perch?
