Icon2 loud tick on engine after swapping my b16 skunk for a JG custom mani. any ideas??

yesterday i finished swapping my b16 skunk2 for a custom mani about 4.5 in. bigger. now the engine ticks a lil louder. could it be the lma's or valves? any ideas?? also i used the old gasket could it b that also?

Could be your gasket if you reused it feel around it for leaks

An intake manifold swap alone will not cause any ticking noises to come from the engine. Are you certain that you did not drop something into the intake ports causing it to get sucked into your engine?

Also it is recommend when swapping an intake manifold to change your gasket to prevent chances of intake leaks. Though if you use a Bisimoto heat shielding intake gasket they are reusable and will prevent heat transfer from your head to you manifold. This will let you pick up a few HP too.
