picked up some mesh ARE wheels.. what model are they??
unfortunately their website doesnt have old discontinued wheels on it. plus, i know these are made by american racing, but the ARE brand might also be a sub-company.. i hope someone can help
How do you know they're manufactured by American Racing? Is there a stamp on the hub-side of the wheel?
I remember seeing some of the ARE line-up manufactured by Enkei. But, its not uncommon for a manufacturer to outsource the castings.

ive been looking online for different ARE wheels and equipment.. according to multiple ebay auctions and wikis, the ARE stands for american racing equipment..
it may be either just a subdivision, or it could just be the center cap is an aftermarket one.. some places i llooked said that it is part of american racings' custom wheel dept.
my center cap, along woith the others i have seen are stamped taiwan, but use american racing part numbers
heres an example of a centercap i found:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ARE-American...17e52c&vxp=mtr
and here:

this link shows that it might have been an upgrade model for older bmw's
