1991 Accord Charge Light Issues
The charge light starting flickering once or twice in a random manner. It could happen today and then maybe two days later...then in another 2-3 days..
I replaced the alternator... it ran fine for a while then the issue started again. I exchanged the alternator thinking it was defective. One day at a stop light, the light came on and the car died.
So a new alternator was put in...
The light comes on inconsistently, I am unable to tell what's causing it.
Can anyone here shed a light on this maybe?
Thank you.

Check the connector on the alternator. Not the battery terminal but the electrical connector. Mine comes loose sometimes on my 97 ex and the light flickers, then i just push the connector back on and problem solved! until it jiggles loose again...
It might also be something in the wiring harness. If you've replaced your alternator that many times, I'd rule that out. But i would check that connector I was talking about. One time it came so loose on my car the ABS stopped working, my tach didn't work and the windows wouldn't roll up or down. Next time the light starts flickering pop the hood and press firmly on the connector, and if it clicks or the light stops flickering then you've found your problem. Good luck!
