Last year was a great turnout. We even had a person from Texas! We had about 15 cars. Lets make this year more so about Hondas/Acuras!! It would be nice to have a bunch of EJ8s running the dragon. But it seems hard enough just to get the meet together. I'm posting this early so everyone that wants to take part can have enough time to make the necessary plans needed.

T-Shirts are on pre-order sale until 1230pm tomorrow afternoon. Yes, its short notice but thats what we have. And yes, they cost more than we had hoped but this is what we have. Anything after will NOT be guaranteed to be at the Dragon. Anything ordered after will be shipped to you for a couple bucks more when I get them.

Decals will be cut decals offered in White (15), Silver (15) and Red (5) for $5 for 1 and $8 for 2. The numbers above are how many we pre-ordered. More can be cut if needed and in other colors. We poor people can only shell out so much for things we dont know how well will sell...lol.

wow, i never knew there was another honda type meet @ the dragon, i'm not sure if you know but Team-integra.net (which i am a member) host a meet every yr during the first wkend in august..we normally get a turn out of 30-40 cars during the weekend, if your having a low turn out maybe you should think about merging your meet with ours..It's mainly gen3 tegs but people have sold there cars over the yrs, hell i had a touareg with me this yr..we had an M3, some WRX's..it's all about hanging with good people and having fun..check it out

We have it posted on multiple forums. But we have never got high numbers off here. So it's more just people being bums on honda-tech.

I'll have to see where the people I know are staying in hotels are staying. The run is just set for Saturday. People coming in town Friday that are really out of town, run Saturday, travel home Sunday. I'm coming from the VA Beach area and a buddy is coming up from TX. Of course some of the more local people will coming Saturday morning.

I dont think we will move to merge with TI's meet. This time has worked out well for us and the weather is generally not as warm...lol. Couple of years to get on our feet but we have started picking up numbers. Hoping for this year being the 5th we do even better! But like B18C said, generally dismal number from HT for whatever reason. And while its geared to Honda's, we are very open to any and all makes/models, including bikes

I haven't drove my Integra in weeks.. Other than it needing a battery, which i will pick one up very soon. I plan on coming and hanging out!

Nice video. I make the trip each year on the second weekend of Sept. but from the other direction. I come by way of Walhalla, SC to Highlands, Franklin, Bryson City, Fontana Village, then the Tail of the Dragon. Nothing but turns the whole way. The road past Fontana is just about as good as the Tail.

 

Man that looks/sounds like a blast.

I hope to make it next year. I have done the Dragon once on a bike with a group (VFRD) on my VFR. There are some AWESOME roads around there.

I just got a few more things I need to get done to my car first!

We will be bringing some swag to the event! Get your pre-orders in now. Or just order after the event. We will have a couple samples of the shirts there. Just really had a hard time finding someone to make the shirts happen. Next year we will have plenty of time to set up for larger orders. Sorry for the short notice.
