hey guys. its my first time posting and i was hoping i wouldnt have to come here with a problem but, here we are. anywho. I recently did a 5 lug conversion on my integra and while i was doing it i came across a problem while removing the 4 lug trailing arm. (pictures below) As i was removing the driver side arm the 1 of 2 bolts that are on each side of the trailing arm bushing felt stripped. I went ahead and removed the other bolt and i went to remove the second and it just kept turning. Me and a buddy tried prying at it and eventually started to cut the head of the bolt so it would all fall out. There wasnt enought room to cut it out so we pryed at it some more and eventually the peice the bolt goes into pulled through the frame. This is where im stuck. Idk if this has ever happend to anyone or not but i honestly am stumped and dont know what to do. anyones help would be greatly appriciated. check out the pics below and you will have a better idea.
This is after we had cut on the bolt some. i know its a hot mess but i didnt know what else to do.

This is after it was all pulled out

Now this is what im left wiith.

Can this peice be purchased from honda? if so how much work am i looking at? any help would be nice. thanks and by the way that is the bolt stuck in that

By the looks of it you may have to find some steel tubing the same diameter and have it drilled and tapped with threads and have it welded back in.
It's possible to do but is a pain in the *** . A machine shop could easily make those pieces on a Bridgeport style vertical mill . Then just have the, welded in but making sure they are level with the other side is the tricky part

thanks for the response. im going to check out a few things first and see if theres not a easier way. because it really doesnt need to be driven how it is now and i have no way to move it.
Since the car doesn't need to be driven right now, why are you looking for the easiest way to fix it. Wouldn't you want to find the best way to fix it.
In that case, you're not going to get away from some cutting and welding to make that point strong again. Make sure you have a quality repair done if you plan drive your car in a sporting fashion.

This is just stressing me out right now. lol its been on jackstands for a week now and i have no way to get it anywhere and really dont know anyone with a welder that could bring it to my house. Im probably going to take that peice the bolt is broken off into to a shop and see if they cant get that bolt out. Then ill see if someone cant get it welded back where its suppose to go. thanks for your help though guys. Ill update when i find something out.

ok so i got the bolt out of the peice that pulled through the frame. all the threads still look good in it so im going to honda today to get a new bolt. or maybe a junkyard. still looking for someone with a 110 welder to come fix it for me. If not i'm going to get it towed tomorrow to a shop and get it fixed.
