So I recently had a problem with my ep3 and it won't start at all or turn over but I recently bought a new battery and starter and still won't turn on. When I turn the key everything I'm the dash light up and I hear a blender like noice coming from the engin but won't turn on the car. Then ill push start it and will start fine but has a rattle noice coming from the front at low rpm. Like inside the tranny. Car shifts normaly and when I step on the clutch and let if go the rattle noice is still there. I can.drive the car normaly and won't stall or anything but won't start at all and I'm thinking.that rattle noice I habeas no clue what that is..........and also when I change the starter and was going to turn it on for the first time I hear a clicking sound as I put in the clutch but now I don't hear it no more..plz help

 

Did you test your power to the starter? Not just voltage but your started lead wire... ?

 

I actually bought a new starter and had the same problem and tested the old one and turn out that it still work

 

I had the same problem. Did a lot of research by checking the chain and what comes along with it. Found out the problem, it was the tensor for me. I hope this link helps you out.
