I was talking to my mechanic about doing a H22 swap into my 5th gen. I was explaining what and how to do it. He told me that I'll also need the computer (cpu?) that controls the ecm. Otherwise the ecm will be stuck in limp mode. I've never seen or read that anywhere else. Does anybody know anything about this?

 

put an amd fx 8 core cpu overclocked at 8ghz that **** will make it blazing fast!!! get rid of your mechaninc honest. the "cpu" is the ecm.
