I love the fuel economy of my 1992 Civic VX. But I used to own a 1997 HX Civic that would get 42 mpg on the highway. From all I have read so far this would be a pretty easy swap and the extra 25 horsepower would almost make my little hatchback feel like a racer. Any input would be much appreciated.

You should use the search button here. HX swaps have been covered to death. Engine, ECU, and harness, as well as the 5/7 wire O2 sensor.
