Icon2 Engines dies when braking hard.

Hello H-T

I have a 1999 civic hatch with an ITR swap.
When I brake as hard as the car can to a complete stop, the engine dies every time... But it starts back up with no problem at all.
I have already checked for vacuum leaks and I'm not throwing any CEL's.
It has a rear disc swap but still has the factory proportioning valve and master cylinder for the original drum brakes....

Has anyone ever had this problem? TIA.

Try cleaning the IACV and adjusting the idle speed.

check the fuel filter for water, dads mitzi delica 2.5 diesel was doing that and we found the fuel filter was full of water from condensation in the fuel (yes i know the vehicle in question couldn't be further away from the "target species" =p)
