Default Difference between 88 and 89-91 HF gears?

I'm looking for an HF 5th mainshaft and countershaft gear for a swap I'm doing.

I noticed that the 88 gears are still available and the 89-91 are discontinued. They also have different part numbers.

What is the difference? Can the 88 5ths still be swapped into any 88-91 L3 transmissions?

Not sure if youre correct. Could be that this page is incorrect though but I've used it for all my other information gathering though.

Aye I think I actually was wrong, the one parts site I used showed a 000 for the 88 and an 010 for the 89 to 90 on the end of the part numbers. I think it was just them being stupid or something.

Thanks for the link!
