Wheel Trim Painting!
Hi All,
So I have a Honda Logo with Original 13inch wheel trims (they actually look smart and have a H logo in the middle).
I went about ordering some new ones from Honda but they told me they would cost £50 each! as they didn't make them anymore
so i decided to refurbish my own,
i have read the forums and some guides but before i go ahead just wanted to check if anyone knows a cheaper place to get this trims?
or to double check im not missing anything here
firstly need to sand the trims with some sand paper then sand it again with a finer type
spray on a primer (wait to dry)
spray on the colour (silver, wait to dry)
spray on a protective clear laquer (wait to dry)
put back on car
does anyone know decent brands of paint/primer etc they could suggest that will be hard wearing
also any times on how to paint this? (i assume it will be a spray nice thin coats etc)

Wheel trims??? You lost me... Go to your local car store and get Duplicolor wheel paint. I have used it on several sets of wheels and has lasted several years, well till I sold the car. Just have to be careful when removing lugnuts because it is easier to scratch than powdercoating. Use at least 5-6 coats to help with durability
