There are many similarities between F and H-series engines however when swapping over to an H22 I would recommend investing on an H22 transmission for shorter gearing as well available LSD option from the factory if you get lucky and find one. Your F22 harness can be used with some modification and adding a few wire for such items such as vtec, knock and so on. You will also need an H22 intake manifold and H22 header being that the F22 is not compatible.

If your plans are to build the H22 engine I would suggest investing on an engine management system to replace your ecu allowing you to tune and optimize fuel and ignition maps. For my own projects I have always invested on a AEM EMS Series 2 which is a stand alone system that will replace your factory ecu entirely giving your total control over all your engine parameters as well many other beneficial features for your setup such as launch control, datalogging and even close loop operation with an AEM UEGO Controller allowing for auto correction of your fuel map while you are driving/racing!

Is your check engine light on? If not you should still probably check the ECU for any stored codes.

Did you use an OBD1 92-95 H22A1 engine and an OBD1 P13 ECU?

your either in limp mode or have a big air leak soud. i had a 94 accord with a leaking intake manifold gasket and it would give me 4k 5k rev limit with no check engine light.

Just wondering if you ever retrieve the code(s) from the ECU to see what the CEL was on for? It could point you toward the issue you are having.
